Software cannot be tested to be right or wrong. The desired outcome of testing is quality and reducing risk for people who matter. Yet, testers, test managers, and quality coaches are often challenged to deliver absolute results.

We see testing and QA as value and quality driven, social, and collaborative activities. We treat the absolute and objective as terms for interaction, dynamics, and means to drive quality and context. Testing influences others far beyond the objective results we deliver with it.

In this tutorial, you will be exploring the impact of your personal thinking and your values on coaching and managing quality, testing software. We will offer you a management perspective combined with a philosophical and psychological perspective on leadership.

This tutorial aims to increase your consciousness about your personal motivations and perspectives. It’s about personal growth in leadership. The tutorial is ‘experiential’ in the sense that you will learn through a combination of short lectures and exploration and experiencing. It is imperative, that you are eager to participate in the facilitated activities in the tutorial.
