Performance of the the end-product has become vital, hence performance testing has started getting more importance in the software development cycle. It is great to dive in to performance testing but are you conducting it in a manner that would actually solve your problem.

This talk would go over the techniques and tips that helped my team and myself to work out performance tests so that we mimic the real issues underlying in the application at an early stage. What needs to be considered from the very instant of requirement gathering to maintaining. End of the day the tests added more value to the quality of the application and achieved the whole purpose.

Performance testing is a need, but there is no value if you are not approaching in a way that it adds value to the application quality. Therefore let us look at conquering the real mess.
